Terms of Use

Last updated: September 2026

These Terms of Use govern your use of legacylawinfo.com and any related pages, forms, guides, workshops, and communications we provide online (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Attorney Advertising

This Site may be considered attorney advertising in some jurisdictions. Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome.

No Legal Advice

Everything on this Site is general information about estate planning. It is not legal advice, and it is not a substitute for advice from an attorney who knows your situation. Estate planning law differs by state and changes over time. Do not act, or decline to act, based on anything you read here without talking to a qualified attorney.

No Attorney-Client Relationship

Using this Site, submitting a form, downloading a guide, registering for a workshop, or attending an event does not create an attorney-client relationship. An attorney-client relationship is created only after Legacy Law has completed any required conflicts review and both you and Legacy Law agree in writing to the representation. Please do not send confidential or detailed information about a legal matter through this Site.

Where We Practice

Legacy Law is licensed to practice in Utah and Wyoming. Nothing on this Site is an offer to practice law in any state where we are not licensed.

Your Use of the Site

You agree to use the Site lawfully, and not to interfere with it, attempt to gain unauthorized access to it, scrape or harvest information from it, or use it to send unsolicited messages.

Our Content

The content on this Site, including text, guides, checklists, workshop materials, and the Legacy Law name and logo, belongs to Legacy Law, LLC or its licensors. You may read, download, and print materials we make available for your own personal, non-commercial use. Anything else, including republishing or selling our materials, requires our written permission.

Forms, Scheduling, and Third-Party Services

We use third-party services to run parts of this Site, including HighLevel for contact management, scheduling, email, and text messaging, and DecisionVault for the secure questionnaire we use to collect family and asset information. When you use those services, their own terms and privacy policies also apply. We are not responsible for the content or practices of any third-party site we link to.

Workshops and Events

Workshop and webinar registration is subject to the details posted at the time of registration. We may reschedule or cancel an event, and we may record sessions and make a recording available to people who registered. Attending a workshop does not create an attorney-client relationship.

Email and Text Communications

If you give us your email address or mobile number, you agree that we may contact you at them about the information, appointments, or events you asked about, and with occasional educational or marketing messages. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in the email, and you can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle that information.

Payments

If we offer online payment for a service or event, the amount, what it covers, and any refund terms will be stated at the time of purchase.

Disclaimer

The Site is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Legacy Law disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error free.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Legacy Law, LLC and its owner, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Site, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law or under the rules of professional conduct.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Legacy Law, LLC from any claim arising out of your misuse of the Site or your violation of these terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute relating to the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
